As we follow the development of COVID-19 throughout our country and the world around us, we felt it was important to share with you what we are doing at Kentucky Botanical Co. to keep our customers, employees, and families safe.

We first want to start off by saying thank you for trusting us for the last year to help you find your healthy. As such, we want you to be confident that you are entering a safe space when you come into any Kentucky Botanical Co. location. We are taking steps throughout the day to insure that you are protected as much as possible when you enter one of our retail locations.

We are staying updated with the very latest information from the CDC, WHO, and government agencies to stay on top of this evolving situation. We have our own personal adviser from the medical field assisting us with our decisions to keep our customers safe. We are closely following the CDC's guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. Our employees are aware of the importance of hand washing & to stay home if they are feeling sick. We are also making sure that common areas are sanitized and our terminals are wiped down following each interaction. We have extended our free shipping options for our customers who are making the decision to stay at home--feel free to call us at the store, order online, or message us for anything you might need.

What are We Doing on a Personal Level?

When I was deciding what to express to our customers regarding COVID-19, I really wanted to make sure that I shared some helpful information and measures that we are taking to protect our own families. Boosting our immune system is so very important as we risk coming in contact with a virus that is dangerous because we don't have the antibodies to fight it.

So, what can we do to protect ourselves from a virus that currently has no cure and no vaccine?

• Eat Your FRUITS AND VEGGIES, friends!!! - I cannot stress this enough. Bright colored vegetables, citrus fruits, ginger, garlic, spinach, turmeric, red bell peppers, broccoli, kiwi--get all the fresh fruits and veggies.

• Get Plenty of Sleep - our bodies heal when we rest, our bodies are ready for combat when we rest, and we are at our best when we are rested.

• Exercise - I know that attending a spin class might not be at the top of your "to-do" list right now, but there are tons of living room exercises that you can do. Just make sure to keep it moving, keep the blood flowing, and keep healthy!

• Add in some SUPPLEMENTS - I mentioned turmeric before...but here are just a few other options:

Echinacea

Astralagus

And, friends, let's remember to stay positive. Let's remember to love our neighbors (while maintaining 6 feet of social distance). Let's remember that even in the hardest, strangest of times, we are all in this together and we will make it through this together.
